About the Course:

Two years ago, the 4155-page Omnibus Bill was passed into law. Included in the December 2022 bill was the Secure 2.0 Act, which was an update to the original Secure Act passed in 2019.

Because the Secure 2.0 Act contained provisions that rolled out over time, this webinar is a general refresher of the overall components and an update on those specific provisions becoming effective in 2025. Advisors can add value to clients by understanding these changes and helping clients prepare for them. While not exhaustive in its coverage, you will appreciate this course for its focus on the items your clients want and need to know.

In addition, we’ll highlight those tax provisions that are due to sunset in 2025 and what the implications are for your clients.

This program provides a high-level refresher and an in-depth look at the specific aspects of the Act that are changing and the financial and tax aspects of those changes.
