About the Course:

This Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Training course equips participants with the knowledge and skills to select, use, and maintain PPE in the workplace. The program aims to enhance safety awareness and ensure workers can protect themselves from hazards.

Participants will learn when PPE is required, how to identify the appropriate type for specific hazards, and the correct procedures for donning, doffing, adjusting, and wearing PPE. The course also covers PPE limitations, care, maintenance, lifespan, and disposal to ensure ongoing effectiveness.

The course covers key PPE categories, including eye, respiratory, head, hand, foot, and hearing protection. It also provides guidance on PPE definitions and practical selection for various work environments.

This training is suitable for offshore and onshore personnel, construction workers, logistics staff, clinic workers, office staff, and other employees who may need to use PPE. There are no formal prerequisites, but participants must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.

At the end of the training, participants will complete a 10-question quiz to assess their understanding. Those who pass will receive a certificate of competence.

Basic Knowledge:
